AND THEN COMMISSIONERS, UM, AFTER THE LAST UM, COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS MEETING, THE CITY OF KISMET, UM, CAUGHT ME AT COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS AND ASKED IF WE HAD THEM CORE MAIN STREET WHEN WE ASKED THEM TO CORE AND WE DID NOT ASK YOU TO CORE THAT.

UM, THEY HAVE COME FORWARD ASKING IF WE WOULD BE WILLING TO HAVE KIRK AND MICHAEL CORE THAT AND DEPENDING UPON THE EXTRA COST, I DUNNO WHAT IT WOULD COST TO ASK YOU TO COME BACK OUT AND DO A CORING OF KISMET MAIN STREET.

THEY SAID THEY MIGHT BE WILLING, UM, TO POSSIBLY PAY FOR A PORTION OF THAT.

BUT THEY WOULD LIKE FOR THAT TO BE DONE SINCE YOU DID EVERYTHING ELSE.

AND WE WOULD KNOW WHAT THE CORING WOULD LOOK LIKE OF THE UM, KISMET MAIN STREET.

I CAN CHECK ON IT.

I THINK WE'RE DOING CORING AND GRAY SO THE MACHINE ALL WOULD BE OUT HERE.

SO IT'S HARD TO TELL THAT NO, IF YOU KEEP GOING ANOTHER INCH DOWN, YOU'LL HIT HARD STUFF AGAIN.

ASPHALT AGAIN MAYBE, BUT SOMEWHAT ON TO THEIR DEFENSE.

IT'S, YOU KNOW, IT'S DISCONNECTED AND NOT REALLY FUNCTIONING AS A FULL ASPHALT DEPTH ASPHALT ALSO.

SO IT'S HARD TO SAY WHAT EXACTLY A FEW OF THOSE AREAS.

UH, AND THAT SAID, YOU KNOW, FOR THE HEAVY TRUCK TRAFFIC THAT WE HAVE, UH, I MEAN I THINK KDOT, LOTS OF TIMES THEIR ROADS ARE GOING IN AT LIKE 12 TO 18 INCHES THICK.

SO, YOU KNOW, EVEN AT OUR SEVEN, WE'RE PROBABLY A LITTLE ON THE LIGHT SIDE FOR SOME OF, OF THESE ONES THAT CARRY A LOT OF HEAVIER TRUCKS.

SO LOT OF GRAIN TRUCKS AND CATTLE TRUCKS, THAT'S FOR SURE.

SO SILAGE AND DAIRY TRUCKS, DAIRY TRUCKS, , I MEAN, THERE'S A LOT OF TRUCKS.

IT IS JUST A LOT OF TRUCKS OUT HERE.

UH, WE STARTED DOING ROAD TWO FROM GRAND D**E TO THE EAST.

AND THEN WE STARTED DOING IT TO THE WEST AS WELL ON THE WEST SIDE OF 83.

THESE PROJECTS AREN'T DONE YET.

WE, WE WERE MOVING AROUND AND TRYING TO, TRYING TO GET SOME THINGS TAKEN CARE OF.

WE BROKE DOWN SEVERAL TIMES, BUT THEY'RE NOT, THEY'RE NOT FINISHED YET.

AND I HATE TO MOVE ON AND START UP ANOTHER PROJECT.

UM, I'M, I'M TALKING ABOUT O AND PI KNOW THAT THEY NEED SOME, THEY NEED SOME ATTENTION.

ESPECIALLY O IT'S BEEN BEAT UP PRETTY GOOD.

THEY DON'T GET THEIR EMAILS.

SO WE'VE HAD SOME ISSUES IN THAT DEPARTMENT.

UH, WE WERE ABLE TO CLEAN A FEW OF THOSE UP AND, UH, ARCHIVE A FEW OF THOSE AND, AND FREE UP SOME SPACE.

BUT PAST COUPLE YEARS I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT, UH, UPGRADING THIS AND IT'S ALWAYS JUST GOT PUT TO THE BACK BURNER FOR OTHER PROJECTS SEEMS LIKE.

BUT, UH, WELL WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PUB WORKS, I THINK IT'S TIME WE SERIOUSLY LOOK AT THIS UPGRADE.

UH, THE HOSTED ONLINE EXCHANGE PLAN THAT WE HAVE QUOTED FROM OTTAVA.

'CAUSE UH, WE, WE ACTUALLY USE OTTAVA NOW WITH OUR IMAP, OUR HOSTED IMAP SOLUTION.

UM, AND THEY HAD, UH, WE'D BEEN WORKING WITH CHAD HOLCOMB, THE CLOUD CONSULTANT FOR OTTAWA AND WE'D BEEN DEALING WITH HIM FOR SEVERAL MONTHS TRYING TO WORK UP A, A GOOD DRAFT ON, ON WHAT WE NEED FOR THE COUNTY, UH, WHAT'S BEST FOR THE COUNTY ANYHOW.

AND WE'VE HAD SEVERAL DIFFERENT DRAFTS, UM, BROUGHT UP.

BUT THIS ONE HERE IS A GOOD BASIC START.

UM, IT HAS OUR 260 ORIGINAL EMAIL BOXES, BUT IT, UH, ALSO IN INCREASES UP TO TWO 80, UH, WITH, UH, SOME OPTIONS THAT WE HAVE THERE.

AND THAT, THAT TWO 80 IS THE, THE NUMBER I THINK WE NEED TO BE AT RIGHT NOW FOR MAILBOX SIZE FOR THE COUNTY, UH, SINCE WE NEED TO ADD SOME MORE FOR, FOR THE PUB WORKS PART OF THINGS.

BUT THAT WILL INCREASE THE MAILBOX SIZE UP TO 50 GIGABYTES.

SO IT'S FIVE TIMES THE MAILBOX SIZE.

UM, I HAVE NOT BID OUT ANYTHING ON THE RELOCATION OF THE RODEO ARENA AT THIS POINT.

WE DO HAVE THE INFORMATION BACK FROM CALL VALLEY, BUT I DO NEED TO GET WITH CJ OR IF YOU WOULD PREFER FOR ME TO GO TO THE RODEO GROUP.

WE JUST NEED TO GET THE DRAWING SO THAT I CAN BID OUT THE PROJECT TO RELOCATE THAT.

UM, WE DO HAVE ANOTHER GROUP IN AUGUST THAT WOULD BE AFTER THE RODEO THAT'S WANTING TO UTILIZE THE GRANDSTANDS FOR ANOTHER EVENT.

UM, NOT RELATED, UM, TO THE RODEO, BUT THEY WERE ASKING, THEY CAME IN FOR, TO BEFORE THEY, UM, IT WOULD BE FOR A CONCERT AND BEFORE THEY PAID TO HAVE A CONCERT COME IN, THEY WANTED INSURANCE THAT IT'S GOING TO BE COMPLETED AND THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE AN EVENT THERE.

SO I WANNA MAKE SURE THAT WE GET ON IT TO MAKE SURE THE RENOVATIONS ARE DONE IN TIME FOR THE RODEO.

ALSO ATTENDED THE CITY COMMISSION COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.

APRIL WAS THERE AND THEY'VE INVITED, THEY'LL BE INVITING SOME OF THE COMMISSION PROBABLY TO BE ON THEIR COMMITTEES.

THEY'RE INVITING A LOT OF THE PUBLIC TO GET INVOLVED.

UH, WE HAD ALSO ATTENDED THE KDOT LOCAL CONSULT MEETING AND I KNOW WE ATTENDED WHAT THREE MEETINGS THAT DAY.

FIRST TWO WERE PRETTY SPARSE, BUT THE LAST ONE THERE WAS A GOOD TURNOUT IN THE EVENING MEETING.
